The first thing you would need to do is to check and read the instruction guide of your dishwasher. Check for the preset temperature of it. Depending on the type and model of your dishwasher, some would require 120 degrees or some would require a higher level of temperature.

Know if the dishwasher require a pre-heating mechanism if the water is too cold. By using a thermometer, you can check for the temperature of the water before you start washing.

If vinegar is unavailable, baking soda or lemon juice can be a good substitute. Now you can clean your dishwasher without the need to spend a big fortune on dishwasher liquid solutions.
